Chicken khobani


Chicken khobani
6---8 serving
  •  1x 1.5 kg ( 3lb) chicken
  • 4 cup sliced onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons ginger paste
  • 2 sticks 2.5 cm piece cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 black cardamoms
  • 2 tomato, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • 1/3 cup dry prunes
  • Salt to taste 

Skin and cut the whole chicken into 12 pieces.

Heat the oil. Fry the onion light brown, add the chicken, garlic, ginger, cinnamon and cardamom. Stir-fry 2-3 minutes. Add the tomatoes, paprika and salt. Stir and fry until tomatoes are reduced to a pulp. Add the prunes, cover and simmer over very low fire until the prunes are softened.

Finally: Serve hot chapatti, parata, pulao or boiled rice.
