  • 1x ½ kg (3 lb) chicken
  • 1 cup sliced onion
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ cup oil
  • 4 cardamoms
  • 3 sticks 2.5 cm piece cinnamon
  • ¼ cup tomato cats up
  • 4-6 green chilies, pared
  • Salt to taste



Skin and cut the whole chicken into 12 pieces.

Heat tho oil. fry the onion until transparent. Add the chicken and rest of the ingredient expect the green chilies and cats up.Stir fry for 2-3 minutes,then cover and cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until gravy has thickened. add the green chilies and cats up, cover and keep over Low heat for about 8-10 minutes.


Finally:Serve hot with boiled rice,khicuri, pulao, chapatti,parata.
