Fish kofta
4 serving
- 1 cup (8 oz) ground fish
- ½ cup boiled rice, mashed
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon ground garlic
- ½ teaspoon ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon finely chopped green chilies
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- Salt to taste
Any kind of fleshy fish may be selected for making kofta. In Bangladesh chitol and foli are specially chosen for making kofta. Scale trim and gut the fish (chitol,foli). Remove skin and take out the flesh from the bone. Then grind the flesh.

Finally: Serve hot kofta or make curry with the kofta.
