Kofta curry

- 1 recipe fish kofta
- ½ cup finely chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon ground garlic
- ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon coriander
- 3 green chilies
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- 2 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
Heat the oil in a frying
pan. Fry the onion golden brown. Add the ground spices mixed in 1 cup of water,
boil till oil begins to separate. Stir and fry for 1 minute. Add the
yogurt,sugar,salt and 1-2 cups of water. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the koftas,
green chilies and coriander leaves. Shake the pan to coat koftas with
gravy, cover and keep over low heat for a few minutes.
Finally: Serve hot with
boiled rice, pulao, chapatti or parata.
