Wood-apple sherbet
4 servings
  • 1 ripe wood-apple
  • 3-4 cups cold water
  • ½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk or yogurt 


Break the wood-apple.Remove seeds with gum. Soak the pulp in 2 cups of water. Rub through a strainer.

Dissolve 1cup sugar in 2 cups of water.mix with the strained fruit.
Beat yogurt. Mix in the fruit. Add more water and sugar according to the size of wood-apple.

Finally: Served chilled.
